The Bourne Legacy Soundtrack

The Bourne Legacy soundtrack is composed by James Newton Howard, an American composer best known for his scores for films like The Fugitive (1993), I Am Legend (2007), Green Lantern (2011), The Dark Knight (2008), The Hunger Games (2012), King Kong and Snow White and the Huntsman (2012). With a career that started in the early 80’s, Howard has scored over a hundred films. For his work, he has received several awards from organizations and award-giving bodies like the Emmy Award, the Classical Brit Awards, the Critics Choice Awards and the Grammy Award. He shared the 2009 Grammy in the Best Score Soundtrack Album category with Hans Zimmer for the film The Dark Knight.

Howard scored three big-budget films for the year 2012. These are The Hunger Games, Snow White and the Huntsman and The Bourne Legacy.

The Bourne Legacy soundtrack contains twenty-six tracks; all are by Howard except for one. Moby, an American musician focusing on electronica has one song included in the soundtrack list. The song he contributed is called Extreme Ways. The song wasn’t originally composed for the Bourne movie as it was released way back in 2002. It was a single from Moby’s studio album titled 18. This is not the first time that the song was used in a Bourne movie. In fact, the song was used in all three previous Bourne movies. It’s used in the closing credits of all films.

About the Movie
The Bourne Legacy is the fourth installment in the Jason Bourne movie series. The first three were The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum. They are all based from the popular Robert Ludlum novels. Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton, Duplicity), who was the screenwriter for the first three films directed this fourth installment. The first one was directed by Doug Liman and the second as well as the third were directed by Paul Greengrass.

Matt Damon, who played Jason Bourne in the first three pictures declined to appear in the fourth installment when he learned that Paul Greengrass isn’t coming back to direct it. So the fourth film has a new lead in Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, The Avengers). Renner plays a character named Aaron Cross. Also in the cast are Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Joan Allen, Albert Finney, David Strathairn, Scott Glenn and Stacy Keach.

Several key scenes in the movie were filmed in the Philippines, mostly in Manila streets. Some were also filmed in Palawan, a popular island destination in the archipelago.

The Bourne Legacy soundtrack will be released a few days earlier before the film opens in theaters.

How to Promote Affiliate Products Using Facebook

Before we proceed on how you can promote affiliate products using Facebook, let us look into some facts first:
1. Facebook is the most popular social networking site in the world. Its closest competitors are very far behind when it comes to overall traffic, influence, and of course the number of active users.
2. Facebook has over 800 million registered members/users. Tens of millions more are signing up each and every month. With the rate that it's been growing, it will just be a matter of time before we see it hit the one billion users mark.
3. Facebook is now head to head with search giant Google when it comes to web traffic.

If these facts don't make you stand up and start marketing on Facebook like crazy, I don't know what will. But this I will tell you – using Facebook can easily shoot your affiliate earnings through the roof. That is of course if you do it with the right techniques and the right attitude.

You use Facebook to reconnect with your old friends and find new ones, right? You share with each other photos, videos, and links to external websites that you find interesting. Where you come in as an affiliate marketer is in the sharing part. To put it simply, you just take your affiliate links then share and post them on Facebook. However, there's more to it than just posting your affiliate links on your Facebook wall. Sharing your affiliate links with your Facebook friends is just a small part of the picture. Besides, you won't make much or not make anything at all if this is your only strategy. Even if you have a thousand friends on Facebook, you will likely not make very much.

Let me show you the best and most effective way on how to promote affiliate products using Facebook. Just take note and apply later on the following steps on how to do it.
1. Create a Facebook Page for your affiliate products. Take note that a Facebook Page is different from a Facebook Profile. A Profile can only be viewed by people who are logged into Facebook while a Page can be viewed by anyone online whether he's logged into Facebook or not. The advantage of a Page over a Profile is pretty obvious. The more than 500 million members on Facebook can see your Profile. But with a Page, the billions of internet users can see it.
2. For this technique to work, you have to be promoting affiliate products that belong to the same or related niche. To be able to illustrate effectively, let's say you are promoting “internet marketing tools and resources”. There are hundreds of affiliate products that belong to this niche. These include ebooks, subscription-based newsletters, downloadable softwares, pay per view videos, members-only webinars, etc.
3. Log into your Facebook account, click on the “Pages” tab located on the left side bar then click on “Create a Page”. All you have to do now is fill in the information needed to create the Page. For our example, name your Page “Internet Marketing Tools and Resources”. Upload a professional-looking photo that conveys clearly what your products are all about. If you have a website or blog that's related to what you're promoting, put them in your Page as well.

4. Once your Page is done, you will then have to focus your attention in getting Facebook users to “Like” your page. When a Facebook user “Likes” your Page, his/her wall and newsfeed will be updated whenever you post something new to your Page. So the more “Likes” you get, the better. Ask your existing friends to “Like” and share your Page. Do this in a regular basis. You can also use external websites that allow you to increase your Facebook “Likes”. A very good example of this is Twiends. You can easily acquire 100 “Likes” by spending just one or a couple of hours on Twiends. The service is free to use so there is no reason why you shouldn't make use of it.
5. You may start to promote affiliate products using Facebook once you start getting “Likes”. The earlier you start placing your affiliate links on your Page's wall, the better. As we stated earlier, all the affiliate products you're going to promote should all be on the same niche. For our example, since our Page is about internet marketing tools and resources, then post only affiliate links that have something to do with internet marketing.
6. Don't just post affiliate links. Use other types of content like internet marketing videos your found on YouTube or links to internet marketing articles and blog posts you found in various websites and blogs.
7. Keep doing steps 5 and 6 every day. If you come across a new internet marketing affiliate product, then post it on your Page. If you come across a great article about internet marketing, post it as well. In time, the number of your Facebook followers will grow. They become more and more targeted thus if you promote an affiliate product, they will more likely purchase it.

That's pretty much all of it. Just find a niche which you think has a lot of affiliate products associated with it then start applying the above steps and tips.

Toshiro Mifune: Japanese Movie Actor

I am a huge fan of Japanese cinema especially early movies dating back to the 60's, 70's and 80's. A friend of mine who studies film making in an exclusive film school in Manila introduced me to more Japanese movies than I can watch. She introduced me to old classics as well as modern masterpieces. To the ordinary movie goer, when he or she hears of Japanese cinema, what usually comes to his/her mind is the master filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. But there's more to Japanese cinema than Kurosawa. Actually, if you dig deeper into the genre, you will come across peers of Kurosawa that you might find to be better filmmakers than Kurosawa.

Anyway, one actor who caught my attention recently is Toshiro Mifune. The talented and charismatic Japanese actor died just a day before Christmas in December of 1997. He left behind him an impressive collection of noteworthy movies. In a career that spanned over forty five years, he has appeared in more than 130 films. The most notable of this impressive body of work are the ones he made with acclaimed Japanese director Akira Kurosawa. Mifune and Kurosawa had a long and successful association that produced 16 films. The most popular of these are the two classics – Rashomon and The Seven Samurai.

Toshiro Mifune Biography
Mifune was born on April 1, 1920 in Tsingtao, China. His parents were missionaries. He became a soldier when he turned 20, serving in the Japanese Army from the years 1940 to 1945. He entered the movie industry in 1947. Although he had no prior acting experience, Toshiro joined a talent content and eventually won a part in the 1947 movie These Foolish Times by director Kajiro Yamamoto where he made his movie debut. It was a small part but it paved the way for more acting opportunities.

When Akira Kurosawa saw Mifune's performance in These Foolish Times, he was impressed by the young actor that he hired him to act and star in his film Drunken Angel in 1948. This was the start of Mifune's long-lasting collaboration with the great Kurosawa. Together, they made 16 movies. Besides Rashomon and The Seven Samurai, their films include Throne of Blood, Macbeth, The Lower Depths, The Hidden Fortress, Sanjuro, and Red Beard.

In 1963, Toshiro Mifune started his very own film production company. In that same year, he directed a film for the first time. The film was called The Legacy of the 500,000. It is the only film he ever directed. After the release of The Legacy, he went on to produce ten films under his production company.

Mifune has also worked with foreign directors. He has appeared in about a dozen films that were made and shot outside of his home country Japan. He has worked with directors like John Frankenheimer, John Boorman, Steven Spielberg, Terence Young and Kayo Hatta. The films he made with these directors are Grand Prix, Hell in the Pacific, 1941, Red Sun, and Picture Bridge.

Toshiro Mifune also appeared in a television mini series in 1980 with Richard Chamberlain. The series were called Shogun.

Cool Giraffe Animal Facts for Kids

The giraffe is an animal that belongs to the Giraffidae family. It's a member of the Artiodactyla order, class Mammalia. The giraffe's scientific name is Giraffa camelopardalis. Of all living mammals on earth, the giraffe is considered to be the tallest. This is mainly because of its long legs and its extended neck. Although these animals used to roam in countries which are now known as Morocco and Egypt, they have since disappeared from said places. Giraffes can only be seen now in their natural habitats in East Africa. West and South Africa used to have significant populations of giraffes but these gradually grew smaller and smaller during the course of the twentieth century. This severe reduction in their numbers is due to several factors such as large-scale hunting, climate changes and the conversion of their natural habitats into agricultural farms.

12 Giraffe Facts
1. The average male giraffe height is 17 feet. That's 5.3 in meters. The female giraffe, on the other hand, has an average height of 14 feet or 4.3 meters. One of the tallest giraffes ever recorded measured 19 feet or 5.9 meters.
2. Because of its long and elongated neck, you would think that the giraffe has more bones in the neck than other mammals. However, just like the other members of its class, the giraffe's neck also has 7 neck vertebrae. These bones are just much longer than usual, thus accounting for the giraffe's impressive neck length.
3. Female giraffes tend to be approximately 25% smaller than their male counterparts.
4. The giraffe's head has two or up to four outgrowths from the top of the head that look like horns. These are but bony outgrowths from the skull.
5. The giraffe is capable of extending its tongue up to 18 inches long. This is very beneficial as the animal often uses its tongue in reaching for food.
6. It can run at a speed of 30 miles or 50 kilometers per hour.
7. It's one of the very few mammals that can walk via pacing. Pacing refers to the walking technique wherein the animal carries both feet on the right side forward then simultaneously move both feet on the left side forward.
8. The giraffe is known to be voiceless but the truth is that it can produce several vocal sounds.
9. Majority of giraffes make open woodland and dry savanna regions as their habitat. They are particularly drawn towards areas with acacia growths. The animals tend to congregate around rivers during the dry season. When the rainy season comes, they live in regions featuring deciduous trees.
10. The giraffe's main sources of food are the leaves as well as new shoots of trees and tall bushes.
11. It either lives alone or lives with a small group. Giraffe herds can exceed over 100 members.
12. There is a form of hierarchy that exists among male giraffes. They maintain their status through posturing an through a form of fighting or sparring wherein they swing their heads and necks at each other. It's very rare though that the animals get fatally hurt in such fights.

2 Bonus Giraffe Facts
1. Some giraffes in certain regions have no specific mating season.
2. No two giraffes share the same markings on their coats. Just like snow flakes, no two giraffes are identical when it comes to the markings on their coats.

Baguio Peanut Brittle: a Nice Pasalubong and a Favorite Among Tourists in Baguio City

The Baguio Peanut Brittle is a very popular food product in the beautiful mountain city of Baguio in the Philippines. It's popular among the locals and the thousands of tourists that visit the city every month. In fact, the city has become almost synonymous to the term "peanut brittle". Say peanut brittle and the city of Baguio will come to mind.

It can be bought at dozens of food shops and souvenir kiosks in the city. They are also available in stores near bus stops. If you want to shop around and look for the best peanut brittle, it's best that you go to the Baguio City Public Market. There you can find a lot of shops selling the product.

Baguio peanut brittle price:
The product can be bought at different prices. There are several factors that affect the price of a peanut brittle pack or bottle. For example, if it comes from a well-known brand, the price will obviously be higher. The stocks of peanut brittles being sold in the city come from several manufacturers and suppliers. Some of these suppliers deliver better products so their price tags are normally higher. A regular-sized plastic container of Baguio peanut brittle usually costs Php50 (Philippine pesos). Some sell for Php60 and some can go as high as Php100.

A common marketing tactic of the vendors is to sell the products in threes. For example, three containers of peanut brittle can cost Php100. If you buy the same products at Php50 each, you will be paying Php150. That said, buying the products in threes will save you a good amount of money. In the example given, you will save Php50.

Baguio peanut brittle recipe:
If you wish to create your own peanut brittle similar to those being manufactured in Baguio City, it's best that you personally visit the suppliers who cook and manufacture the products. They are easy to find as they usually have their contact details like address and phone number on the labels of their peanut brittle products. Most of them will be more than willing to welcome you and show you how they cook their products. If you can't personally come up to Baguio and see the cooking process yourself, you can just find recipes posted by food enthusiasts on the internet. The process of cooking the products are usually the same and can be easily followed.

So if you are visiting Baguio City anytime soon, it's highly recommended that you get a taste of their famous peanut brittle. They are very affordable and will make good treats and snacks. They are also great as a "pasalubong", the Filipino term that refers to the gifts that somebody gives to friends or family after traveling to a particular place.

How and Where to Sell or Exchange Your Unwanted Amazon Gift Cards for Cash or PayPal Funds

Do you have Amazon gift cards that you wish to sell or exchange for either cash or PayPal funds? In this article, I'm going to show you your possible options. These options enable you to exchange your gift cards for cash, PayPal funds or even other gift cards. For instance, you can barter your Amazon gift card for an iTunes gift card. There are several websites that allow you to do this.

If you have unwanted Amazon gift cards in your hands, why not sell them instead of seeing them languish in your account. The great thing about these cards from Amazon is that they don't have expiration dates. You can sell them today or next week or even next month. This gives you a lot of time to look for buyers.

Don't sell your Amazon gift cards on eBay
I tried listing some cards there and I got scammed more than once. That said, I won't recommend using eBay. Besides, I've heard that gift cards that are to be delivered to buyers electronically or via email are no longer accepted there. Anyway, you've been warned.

My favorite place to trade and sell my Amazon gift cards
Reddit. Yes, this is the place where I sell most of my cards. I've sold and traded dozens of cards there and I've never been scammed. Not even once. This doesn't mean however that there are no scammers on Reddit. There are a lot of them in fact. Before entering into a deal with anyone on the site, make sure that he/she has good comment and link karma. This means that he/she is a trusted user and is likely to scam you. To trade or sell your cards on Reddit, just go to the subreddit and create a thread there advertising your offer. There's a standard format that you need to follow in creating your thread. Just browse through the other postings to find out how it's done.

Other ways on how to sell your Amazon gift cards
If you aren't able to dispose of your cards on Reddit, you can try any of the gift card sites listed at the end of this article. I've never tried any of these sites since I'm quite satisfied using Reddit. One disadvantage of using these gift card sites is that most of them choose the selling price for your cards. For example, if you have a $10 card, they'll buy it at 80% for $8. Some gift card sites even go as low as 50%.

When you use Reddit, you can sell your cards at any price you want. Anyway, if you wish to use a gift card site, here are some of your options:

Monster Gift Card
Gift Card Monkey
GiftCard Zen

What is a Paluwagan: a Money Lending and Saving System in the Philippines

Paluwagan definition: this is a Filipino term for a form of money-lending scheme that is very popular in the Philippines. It's a very common practice among friends and co-workers. It's an informal form of saving and lending money. For a paluwagan system to exist, there should be at least three people involved. In most cases, these paluwagan agreements don't even require documentation or paperwork because the members are often close to each other. There doesn't seem to be a term for paluwagan in English.

How it works:
As was mentioned earlier, there should be at least three people for a paluwagan to work. Basically, all the members in the paluwagan will throw in a fixed amount of money into a pool of funds. This will then be received by one of the members. The process will be repeated as often as the number of members in the paluwagan. The pooling of money will happen on a schedule. It could be weekly, monthly, quarterly, every two weeks, etc.

So for a paluwagan system to exist, the following factors should be present:
1. At least three members
2. A schedule of payment
3. A fixed amount to be contributed by each member every payment schedule

Here's an illustation of how the paluwagan system works:
1. Let's say three co-workers decide to enter into a paluwagan. Let's name them James, John and Mark.
2. They agree on paying money to a pool every week.
3. The amount they agreed upon is $1000 per member.
Since this example has three members and the agreed-upon payment schedule is weekly, one cycle of the paluwagan will be completed in three weeks. So here's how the system works. On the first week, all three members will put $1000 each on the pot for a total of $3000. James will receive the cash. On the second week, all three members will again contribute $1000 each. John will receive the cash. The same process will be repeated in the next week and the weeks after that. The only thing that will be changing is the recipient of the pot.

So there you go. That's how paluwagan works.

Supreme Wealth Alliance (SWA) Ultimate Philippines Review: Is It A Scam Or Not?

If you are a Facebook user, it's very likely that you have come across posts, updates and advertisements by people who are involved with Supreme Wealth Alliance (SWA). So many people are aggressively promoting this business opportunity in Facebook groups and fanpages. In this Supreme Wealth Alliance review, we're going to look into the company, its business model and other aspects of the business. We recommend that you read this review before you join the business.

What is Supreme Wealth Alliance?
SWA is a networking company. Or an MLM company if you prefer this term. The brainchild of a Filipino named Francis Chavez, it's a business opportunity that offers you the chance to earn extra online income by promoting the same opportunity on Facebook. Just like other network marketing companies, you earn through the people who sign up through your referral.

The Product
Supreme Wealth Alliance's product comes in the form of a collection of materials and resources, most of which are in the wealth-building niche. These are ebooks, videos, and audio files. This package of wealth-building resources is their only product. But there's a HUGE problem with regards to the materials in this package. Almost all of those materials aren't unique to Supreme Wealth Alliance meaning the networking company did not come up with the materials themselves. You can find the same materials elsewhere in the internet. SWA simply gathered all these materials, dumped them in a package then sold it.
Another BIG problem is that many of the materials in the package are copyrighted materials. This means that SWA has no business in offering them for sale. This brings up the question of whether the founders know what they are doing. Some legal problems can arise with these infringements. You can't just gather books by different authors then sell them as your own. This is stealing. Pure and simple.

Spammy Promotion Tactics on Facebook
You've probably first heard of SWA on Facebook through a post by a friend or posts by people you don't know on Facebook groups of which you are a member. Looking at these posts, you can see another problem with Supreme Wealth Alliance. The way members advertise the business is rather spammy and unethical. They go around Facebook joining groups and posting about SWA without even considering if what they're doing is appropriate or not.

What these SWA members are doing is spamming Facebook. It's annoying. It's unethical. It speaks of greed. Overall, they are putting the company under a bad light. Seeing people holding wads of cash in front of their laptops or PCs is rather off-putting to say the least. What's worse is that Supreme Wealth Alliance is encouraging them to do so.If this is the kind of marketing strategy that your members are using, then it will be a matter of time before your company goes bust.

There's nothing wrong with promoting a business opportunity on Facebook. However, if your promotional tactics include spamming the feeds of people and groups, then it becomes wrong. Since SWA's main marketing is Facebook, these spammy tactics will likely continue to be employed by SWA members. That said, the founders of SWA need to find other recruitment strategies. Or if they insist on focusing their priorities on Facebook, they must at least educate their members to conduct themselves ethically and decently when promoting the business.
Now you know. If you ask me, I think SWA Ultimate is a scam. It's not worth it. They don't have products although they insist that they have. Just the plain fact that their members are stupidly spamming Facebook should be a red flag for anyone.

Whether you pay a fixed ad fee or pay depending on the performance of your ads, it's all up to you and the blogger.

2. Social networking sites. The Philippines is among the top countries in the world who have the most number of Facebook users. Start your search online. Type in the words “dentists in Makati” or simply “Makati dentist” in the search bar. Look into the first two pages of results. You will surely get different types of results. It could be a business listing, the official website of a real dental clinic or better yet a review of the services of a particular clinic or practitioner. If you are lucky enough, you might be able to find a good dentist this way. Additionally, don't forget local business directories. Just browse over to the health category of listings and see if there are listings for dental care.

Get the recommendations of your family, friends or co-workers. Everyone of us gets dental care every now and then. That said, most of the people you know have dentists that they go to. So ask them for recommendations. Mention the specific type of dental care you need because dentists offer various services. Some practitioners focus on a particular service while some offer all of the services in the dental health care book.

If you have a family doctor, ask him or her for a recommendation. Health care professionals, especially in the private practice sector, are very well-connected. Often, they know most of their peers operating in the same area.

You can also ask your local pharmacist for a recommendation. Pharmacists know a lot about Makati dentists as clients of the dentists usually go to them for medicines prescribed by the latter.

If you can, try calling the dental clinic first before you go in. When you call, ask them if they can accommodate the kind of dental care you are looking for. As we said earlier, there are dentists who offer limited dental services. It will be a waste of time if you get at their office only to realize that they don't offer the services you are looking for.

And last but not the least, you need to consider the following factors: the reputation of the dentist, location, cleanliness of the office, and the dentist's personality.

Always follow these tips when looking for good and reliable Makati dentists. Also, we should mention here that rates of dental services in Makati are usually higher compared to other rates in the surrounding cities. This is of course expected given the higher cost of living in the city. But you will get your money's worth as dental services in the area are among the best in the entire Philippines.

Rambutan and Lychee: Comparing the Two Fruits

People often confuse the rambutan and the lychee because these are two fruits that have a lot of similarities. However, they are two different fruits. In this article, we are going to look into the two fruits and each of their characteristics. From these, you should be able to learn how to distinguish a rambutan from a lychee. The two are both borne by evergreen trees that nearly look the same, they are commonly cultivated in the same countries and their fruits are almost identical if not for the hairy attributes of the rambutan. Anyway, the two fruits are described in detail below.

The Rambutan: The rambutan is the fruit of a tropical evergreen tree that belongs to the Sapindaceae family. According to popular belief, the tree originated from Malaysia and Indonesia. From these two countries, cultivation of the trees spread to neighboring countries such as the Philippines, Thailand, Burma and Vietnam. The tree also traveled as far as India and Sri Lanka. A certain species of the tree is also being cultivated in the Central American nations Costa Rica and Puerto Rico. This species is known as wild rambutan. Costa Ricans call it mamon chino. The rambutan is a non-climacteric fruit. What this means is that it only ripens on the tree. You can't pick it unripe unlike mangoes or bananas, fruits that you can pick unripe then leave in a corner to ripen. This isn't the case with the rambutan. You can only pick it when it's ripe.

Other places where rambutan is cultivated include Africa, Australia, Panama, Ecuador, Hawaii and the Caribbean islands. Ecuadorians call the fruit achotillo. The fruit is consumed in several ways. Aside from being sold fresh, rambutans are also used to make jams and jellies. In some instances, they are preserved and canned.

The Lychee: Like the rambutan, the lychee also comes from an evergreen tree that belongs to the Sapindaceae family. However, unlike the rambutan which is a tropical tree, the lychee can thrive in both tropical and sub tropical conditions. The height of a lychee tree ranges from 10 to 28 meters high. The tree is a native to Southeast Asian countries, Taiwan and China. The tree is also cultivated in several countries from all over the world. It's cultivated in Bangladesh, Japan, South Africa and in the states of Hawaii and Florida in the United States. If historians are right, cultivation of the lychee tree started in Malaysia, Vietnam and southern China. It was first introduced in 1782 to the West.

Lychee fruits mature within eighty to one hundred days. How long the fruit matures depends on factors like cultivar, climate as well as location. The shape of the fruit also varies. Some are round, some are heart-shaped and some are ovoid. Like rambutan, lychees can also be preserved and canned so they can be bought all year round.

As to the taste of the rambutan and lychee fruits, they are pretty similar. Their flavors range from sweet to sour, reminiscent of the taste of ripe grapes.
