Glee Sings The Beatles Soundtrack Album

If you are a fan of the television show Glee and the music of The Beatles, here is an album you might want to check out. The album is called Glee Sings The Beatles and it features fourteen songs by the popular British band as covered by the cast of Glee. It will be the fifteenth soundtrack album to come out of the musical television program.

The first two episodes of the fifth season of Glee will feature tributes to the music of The Beatles. The first episode is entitled Love Love Love and the second episode is entitled Tina in the Sky with Diamonds.

Love Love Love is obviously derived from the lyrics of the song All You Need is Love by The Beatles which was released in July 1967. It's one of the most well-known songs by the band.

Tina in the Sky with Diamonds, on the other hand, is derived from the song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Recorded by the band in March of 1967 then released a couple of months later, the song was inspired by Julian, John Lennon's son. A controversy arose around the song right after it was released because the title allegedly spells LSD if you are to take the first letters of the nouns in the title. The BBC even went as far as banning the song.

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is a track from the band's album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, one of the most successful records ever released by the rock and roll group.
Here's the track listing for the Glee Sings The Beatles album: 1. Yesterday, 2. Drive My Car, 3. Got to Get You Into My Life, 4. You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, 5. Help, 6. A Hard Day's Night (song), 7. I Saw Her Standing There, 8. All You Need is Love, 9. Get Back, 10. Here Comes the Sun, 11. Something, 12. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, 13. Hey Jude, 14. Let It Be

The song Here Comes the Sun will feature pop singer Demi Lovato.
