Student In Iloilo Posts Nude Photos Of Her Female Classmates Online

Here's another reason why it's never a good idea to have nude photos of yourself taken. Whether you yourself or a second party is taking the photo, don't let it happen. Five female students in Iloilo learned this the hard way. After allowing a classmate of theirs to take their photos while scantily-clad, they are now shaking their heads in deep regret after these photos surfaced online without their consent.

The student who spread the photos is now facing criminal charges. According to Police Officer 3 Jessica Gerardo of the Women's Desk of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit in Iloilo, charges for violation of Republic Act 9995 has been filed against the suspect.

Gerardo told The Daily Guardian: "We have already identified the suspect but we still cannot reveal her identity to protect her as she is still a student. The complainant said they still cannot contact her as of the moment."

According to the complainants, they were convinced by the suspect last March of this year to pose without garments on in exchange for half a million pesos (Php500,000). The suspect promised that the photos will be published in an international magazine based in Canada. She also assured the girls that their faces won't appear in the pages of the magazine and that they will be paid the 500,000 during the first week of April.

To the dismay of the complainants, the suspect never paid them. Making matters worse, some of the photos were circulated online. The suspect who is about 20 years age is still at large.

If found guilty, the suspect can face a penalty of "of imprisonment of not less that three (3) years but not more than seven (7) years and a fine of not less than One hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) but not more than Five hundred thousand pesos (P500,000.00), or both, at the discretion of the court."
